OUR WORK
There are three major components of our work. The Center provides leadership development programs; offers financial support and technical assistance to school districts working on multi-year systemic reform efforts; and researches and formulates public policy options for state and local appointed and elected officials. Each component assumes that successful improvement efforts must be built on changes in the ways school districts organize themselves, develop school and district leadership, design curriculum, use data to make decisions, collect results and reflect on their impact. Our work marries theory with practice, hands-on, field-based activities with academic research, and local experience and knowledge with national expertise.
